Wacom intous5 zoom conflict with photoshop
I've been having this issue with my wacom tablet, I can't use the zoom function unless I turn off "zoom with scroll wheel" from Preferences on photshop..But turning it on makes the zoom function on tablet doesn't work..
Any help ?

Generate->Image Assets - ugly Bug found (reproducible)
Hi.
First I want to say the new Generate-> Image Assets script in combination with the Linked Assets are something like the current "holy grails" for my work. Actually... but the generate script results in BIG problems when working on a bigger project.
First I try to explain, what I actually do. I am creating dozens of icons for the game industry. I have project files that includes really a lot of different layers and groups within a single PSD file. In the history I worked with slices to manage all the crop work and save the single files.
The new generate tool saves me a lot of time and should be a great help. You must know, I have far more than 150 different icons, represented by smart objects or vector shapes within a single PSD! So the generate script needs always some time to create all external images. And this was the time I found the bug.
What happen?
As long as the script is running and generating images you are not able to select any layer or blending pulldown menu in any project window inside photoshop.
So when you try to select a layer or try to click on a blending menue, the layer and the menu close immadiately. The same happen if you try to switch the generator script off while it is running (generating images). The click in the menu will just be ignored.
- The mentioned problems disappear as soon as the generate tool finished the job (created all images).
- The problems never happen, when the tool is not active (Generate->Image assets not checked).
How to reproduce?
1. Create a blank canvas in photoshop. (CTRL+N)
2. Create a blank layer and paint some information on it. Rename the layer to "test01.png".
3. Duplicate the layer and rename the copy to "test02.png". Do this until you have a lot of layers.
Create enough layers to have time to reproduce the problem. Let's say 20 Layers, better more. This is important, because the more layers you have, the longer the script is running and you have the time to reproduce the problem.
5. Check the function File->Genarate->Image Assets
6. Save your file.
7. Try immediately to rename any layer by double click on it, or try to click on the blending mode pulldown. -> Impossible, because both closes immadiately as long as the generate routine is running.
Please fix this for the next update!
Such a functionality is a really great improvement and a "must buy" argument for people like me who work with dozen of assets that have to be saved as single files.
I have reproduced this problem on two different systems. Windows 7 and Windows 8 installations.

"This is not a valid Photoshop Touch Project." Popup screen shows up. Why and how to fix?
Hello 
There was a project I was working on PS Touch for the past several days. Today when I decide to work on it again, a popup message appeared saying, "This is not a valid Photoshop Touch Project."
I am wondering what has happened? And why did this happen?
I never used any other PS software except for PS Touch, so how can it not work on the software I made it in?
And how can I did this? I tried to save what I had done as a complete project, but the loading never loaded. So... I have no idea!
Sorry if I'm all, you know, rude or something, I am just frantic cause I have been working on this all last week.

3D menu is greyed in Photoshop CS6
I am running windows 7 64-bit
Photoshop CS6 extended
display card: AMD Radeon HD 6730M
When trying to access the 3D menu in Photoshop it is greyed-out. The only item selectable is 'Get More Content'
Any suggestions?

Laptop windows 7: Photoshp software is working perfectly.
On my computer with Windows 7 the same cd with software: it's installed but the cursor isn't an arrow but an thread. And it's not reacting, it doesn't work not at all. What cab I do?

Quick Mask Mode seems to be not working
I click the quick mask mode and select the brush tool. After covering the areas I want to work with using the brush and leave the quick mask mode, the whole picture is selected in lieu of the areas I brushed over and highlighted in red. I wonder if this has anything to do with the quick mask mode or the brush tool or others?

Weird Crop Results
I'm trying to crop one of my files like following (trying to make the black border thinner):
When I have the grid set up like above then I push crop I get:
It's not fully cropping the black border like I'm asking it to and is moving up the word "creator" for some reason. Can anyone think of why it might be doing this?

printing problem with cc and cs6 with epson 7890
Hi everyone,
I am having a serious printing problem. I use CC (14.2.1) and CS 6 (13.0.6) on Mavericks 10.9.1 on an iMac. If I try to make a print on a 24" roll I get an error message: cupsRasterinterpretPDD has an error = page header unsupported values. If I print A2 or A3 sheets everything works fine.
I contacted Epson because I thought it was a printer problem, but they insist it is a photoshop problem. I updated to the latest printerdriver.
Does anyone have any ideas or even better a solution?

photoshop CS5 can only decode fax encoded images up to 32767 pixels wide and tall
Dear Sir/Madam,
Can you please help me? I am scanning large drawings using an Xerox 6204 Large printer/scanner. The resolution is set at 600 and saved as .tif. Photoshop CS3 can open files with no problems, but CS5 gives me the following message:
"Photoshop can only decode fax encoded images up to 32767 pixels wide and tall"
I can also view with infarview and open with applications such as corel draw. Am I missing a plug-in or patch update? The same file can be opened in both Photoshop versions if I scan at resolution 300.
Your help is greatly appreciated.

Save new camera raw defaults for already opened smart objects.
I've a question about Photoshop and Smart Objects, as I like to use Smart Filters. I open my raw photos in Camera Raw, I adjust them and then continue editing in Photoshop as smart objects.
My problem is that if during editing in Photoshop I adjust again some parameters reopening the photo in Camera Raw, there's no way I can save the new adjustments for the next time I want to open the raw again.
I happened to me I changed a lot of parameters and I wanted to have them as defaults for that photo.
Quite simply: if I I want to save new Camera Raw edits as defaults for that photo, how can I do?
P.S. I tried saving a new snapshot, but they disappear if I open the raw again.

Still waiting on my serial number...
I bought Photoshop CS6 Extd. Student/Teacher package last Wednesday. Basically, I tried to install it on Saturday and was told about twenty times that my product number was inaccurate. I then spent the morning trying to resolve this issue with Adobe, who opened a case for me and told me that I needed to manually send them the product number and all of my University documentation in order to prove that I was a student. It's now mid-Tuesday and I've still heard nothing back in regards to any type of serial number or confirmation of my Uni stuff. Is this waiting business a regular thing? It seems a bit like I'm running into brick walls here...

Problem of copy paste from Illustrator to Photoshop
I have a problem with copy paste from illustrator to photoshop. The pasted picture/element is rasterized and not sharp. I have this problem with vector element too.
