Help! My CS6 photoshop was working before I upgraded my operating system to OS 10.8.5. I uninstalled photoshop and reinstalled it. Still doesn't work. I can't do anything in Photoshop, it comes up with that error everytime I try to open a file.
i have ps 7 but cannot open and convert RAW images from my Nikon, under OPEN it list RAW but i am unable to open and convert to pdf. My images also say NEF. How can i open and convert Raw images on ps 7?
Why do I have a "no" symbol while using actions.
Going to adobe.com and checking my products listing w/serials, it reports that I no longer have any adobe products!!! I own CS4 Designs Premium, CS5 Design Premium as well as CS6 DP in Windows and CS3 and CS6 in Macintosh, not counting Premier Elements and Elements from ver4 thru 11.. What is up with this???
When i view an image in PS CC in looks 2 times smaller than in Mac OS Preview or in any other viewer. I tried it on another computer - same thing. (Photoshop CC, 15 inch Macbook Pro with Retina display)
Moreover, while the image looks sharp in photoshop, in viewer it looks like it's been magnified to 200%. So i create an image in photoshop say 300x300 pixels, 72 dpi, save it as jpeg, open in Preview at 100% and it looks twice as big as in photoshop and blury. if i post this image to the website, it looks exacly as in viewer, but not like in photoshop. Don't know what to do. Please help
Photoshop freezes during start while using 1 core. It happens often if another user has opened an instance of photoshop in another account on the same computer. If I stop PS on the other account it works again. Running Photoshop CC on Windows7.
Any ideas what's happening?
I purchased Photoshop Extended and it is not working anymore.
I'm using Photoshop Extended CS6. I'm printing to either an Epson Stylus Pro 9900 or an Epson SP4900. In the print dialog, I get a warning I haven't seen in a long time. It says the setting "No Color Management" at the printer is not supported. This is patently false. I am given a link to download the Adobe Color Print Utility (which gives abominable results; I know this from repeated uses in the past), and a service note saying this issue is for Photoshop CS5. Clearly there is a problem, possibly a bug.
I have never had CS5 installed on this machine. I do have PS CS5.5 and PS CS6 on this machine (I have used all versions of CS in various suites from the start of the product line).
Can anyone explain this annoying intrusion on my workflow? Of course "no printer management on printer/Photoshop manages color" works... There must be an explanation.
Thanks.
The Liquify>Twirl Brush in PSCC is acting differently on my new MacPro AND my new iMac than it does on older machines; creates concentric rings rather than twirls. Same wersion of PSCC (14.2.1) on all. Switching Wacom tablets bwtween machines makes no difference. Anyone else having this problem?
I was thrilled to have Photoshop back after losing My computer and software in a flood. I came here and DLed the CS2 software for Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign and After Effects. Though I haven't seen a problem with Illustrator and InDesign (yet), after working perfectly for about a month in Photoshop... Over half the filters stopped working!!!
Is there a way to get My fully functional Photoshop back? This is costing Me money - I can't replicate styles for customers.
So... Help?
Sincerely,
Amaterasu Solar.
Hi guys!
I get that this problem has come up a lot, but I'm not finding anything to help me.
Basically, every time I try to open Photoshop CC, it crashes almost immediately. I've tried signing out of CC and back in again, running Photoshop as an administrator, uninstalling and reinstalling Photoshop, and restarting my computer. I've already tried the Adobe Help Chat thing, but that wasn't particularly helpful.
I'm really hoping someone can help me, as I just paid for a one year membership and I don't want to have wasted my money.
Thanks in advance!
Hi, I am working for a non-profit organisation and we would love to have photoshop and illustrator, but can't afford the commercial products. Are we able to purchase the educational version?
I justdownloaded a Creative Cloud single-appphotoshop, got a Danishversion, butwill preferan Englishversion. Can Iswitch language?
I am using the trial of PhotoShop and am learning web design. I would like to know how to fade the edges of a picture so that they gracefully transition to the background color. Allow me to illustrate:
Here is a stock photo of a kind man I purchased online and as you can see, he's sitting on top of a light blue background of my web page:
I want to provide a smoother color transition at the horizontal edges, maybe near his right elbow and left hand so that the color transitions more gradually into the background. To see what I'm trying to accomplish, navigate to http://unBounce.com and scroll down to the third band where you see an Asian man explaining something. See how the horizontal edges nicely blend into the blue background? That's what I'm trying to accomplish. I realize that the Asian photo is doing some other sophisticated and cool things like blurring the background. I don't need anything that fancy. I just want to have better edge transition via blurring or some other technique.
Sorry for the rudimentary nature of this question. Thanks!
Is there a way to limit the amount of colors available for use in RGB mode? I know that in Indexed Mode, you can limit it to, say, 256 colors, but then so many of Photoshop's features aren't enabled anymore.
Can the color pallet in RGB mode be limited to 256 colors (or any amount of colors we choose)?
