Help please for major problem with Actions in PSCS6
Have used Actions successfully in CS5 and occasionally in CS6, but just recently, when applying an action via Image Processor - either from Bridge or from an open file in PS - it starts the action, but then I get a window coming up saying 'sorry - have been unable to process these files'. HOWEVER, the really scary thing is that sometimes it has completed the action but hasn't saved the file in a separate JPEG folder, but has overwritten the original. So my large multi-layered PS file has become a tiny jpeg file for using on the web for example. Sometimes it has left the original PS file open, even though it has managed to flatten it, re-size etc. Fortunately in that case I can click don't save, and still have my original. Sometimes it actually creates the JPEG subfolder, but nothing gets there.
By the way, this has happened using several different actions - whether re-sizing, adding canvas etc.
Now of course, I don't trust it to do anything, and have to every step individually for each file.
Can anyone help tell me what has gone wrong, and how to correct it?

Editing LR images in PS
When I right click a LR image to edit in PS, I choose 'edit a copy with LR adjustments. The image opens fine in PS, but when I move the image onto a card template, the image is dull and desaturated and has a slight color cast. Bit depth and resolution is the same for both files and I am using RGB. Any ideas? This never happened with previous versions of LR or PS.

Where is my Display Driver.
I need to select 'use Graphics Processor" in Preferences in Photoshop CC but it is greyed out and I am getting a message saying I may need to update or reinstall my Display Driver then try again. Can someone please tell me where i can access my Display Driver.

Note that over 100 GB (yes, you read that right, GIGAbytes) of scratch disk was required, not to mention easily filling my 16 GB RAM.

Photoshop CS5.1 (64bit) slows to a crawl with about 900 layers
Is there a way to fix this?
Graphic drivers are up to date.
Photoshop is up to date.
I cranked up the ram to 20GB in "Performance".
Quick system specs:
- i7 920 @ 3.3 GHz
- 24GB RAM 1600 MHz
- 10K raptor drive
- 6950 2GB

Images become dark and saturated Photoshop > JPEG
So I have noticed several people having this problem, and the solutions that work for them don't seem to work for me!
I start in Camera Raw 8.0, then move to photoshop to crop and tweak a little bit more, then when I save to JPEG and view in windows photo viewer or other medium, the photo is dark and overly saturated. I understand that photoshop is a color mangaged space, and that most other programs are not, but I still can't figure out how to make what I see in photoshop translate to the JPEG image. These will eventually be used on a website and I need everything to look as professional as possible. The image on the right is really dark, especially on the front lawn and porch.

How do I disable linked smart-object auto-update/refresh?
Working in the CC3D features, I am constantly making changes to my bump map. Every time I step-backwards, or make a significant change to the bump texture (smart object?), CC auto-saves the layer. This specific file is a very very large document (3 gigs in the bump texture layer alone), and the 3D layer has lots of lights and is very complex. This auto-refresh/update really bogs down the time that it would take me to make my changes. I have a very fast machine (I know it's fast, I dont need to list my specs), and I have all shadows disabled.
How do I disable linked smart-object auto-update/refresh?

feature missing in PhotoshopCC
I recently moved from a PC Win7 using PSCS5 and Lightroom 5.x to an iMac running Mavericks, and signed on for the photography Photoshop CC with Lightroom. In the old CS5, up in the tool bar, there was a neat little drop down box to select a magnification level, with 25%, 50%, 100% and 200% for choices.
That was a nice and easy way to switch between image sizes in the window for checking sharpness, halos, spots, etc.
The feature appears to be missing from Photoshop CC. Or is it hidden somewhere?
It's a trivial thing but ........

CS6 and CC Program Error Message
I installed a new drive (OWC Accelsior SSD) via PCIe in my 2009 MacPro then loaded 10.9 on the new drive. While I have regret about 10.9 due to the Colorflow bug, I had already done the upgrade on the old drive and stayed with 10.9
I then ran Migration Assistant to copy everything to the new drive.
In addition, I ran Verify Disk on both the old and new drives via the Disk Utility and all was OK.
After the migration, CS6 13.0.0 will not allow me to open a file from any internal or external drive. When I select File, Open the error message states, "Could not complete your request because of a program error".
When I select File, Open 2-3 times, I am able to open a file but only from the Desktop. After trying 10 File, Opens, from the Desktop with sucess, I tried selecting an external drive and immediatly get the program error message again
I tried selecting internal sata drives, an external Raid 5 connected via eSata and a drive connected via USB3 but all produced the same error message.
So I installed CC. Unfortunately the same exact problem occurs.
I noticed when I was installing CC that there was an update to CS6 13.0.0. But when I tried to update via the iCloud installer and also the download from the Adobe site ,the update failed with this message, "Errors encountered during installation (U44M1P7)
I have found an inconvenient workaround that might offer a clue in that I am able to open any file from any drive if I drag it over the icon in the dock. That works for both CS6 and CC.
I have spoken at length with Apple Care and OWC, and all seems to check out with the OS and the Hardware
The only positive thing going for me is that the error messages pop up super fast due to the new SSD vs sata......

Opening a DNG file locks PSCC and Bridge
Trying to open a DNG or a NEF file causes ACR to lock completely. The only way to quit is to Force Quit. I am a MAC user, Mavericks, long time PSCC user. This problem just occurred. It is not a plug-in conflict.

How do I transfer photos in iPhoto to Photoshop?

WHITE LINES APPEARING ON PHOTOSHOP Cs6 LAYERS THAT PREVIOUSLY WERE NOT IN THE SAVE FILE -
I Keep having this reoccuring problem today - white lines keep appearing attatched to certain & all layers in photoshop files that I have, the only solution that seems to get rid of them is to put a mask on the layer and mask the line away, these are appearing on text, smart objects & rastersized layers. They were not there when I previously saved the file and they should not be there now, I then went to open another file I had and white lines started to appear on the files. This is really frustrating because some of the website documents have alot of layers. I have attatched an example below, they only appear to be 1 pixel and can range up to 2500pixels wide and they overlap making the line look thicker sometimes. Any advise would be great, Thanks.
