I have a question about Adobe Bridge...
When I make changes to a Photoshop image’s description, under File info, Adobe Bridge will not recognize the changes and the new words do not come up in a search. Why is that?

Photoshop 14 - It feels like Molasses with Mavericks (PS CC 14.1.2)
Hi -
I am on a rMBP, iMac and a MacPro all 3 a year old with Max RAM and beyond a GB of Graphics RAM.
Making Selection
It takes about 600 Milliseconds for the selection to happen after letting go of the mouse.
Erratic Navigator
The Navigator is acting extremely erratically. Moves the image about violently and off the screen.
Dragging an Object
It takes about half a second for the object to 'drop' after having let go of the mouse.
This often results in the object moving to an unwanted location if one moves the mouse cursor before the object has been accepted as a drop.
Working Inside Molasses
Been using PS since version 1. And I have never had a worse experience with it. It feels sticky, heavy and extremely clumsy and unresponsive.
And this in the year of the lord 2013 where CPUs & GPUs are more powerful than ever.
I am extremely disappointed with this flagship adobe product and cannot help but wonder what has happened here.
This app used to be state of the art in regards to responsiveness and programming. Now it is raising the bar as the slowest app I have ever worked with.
This happens on three CPUs. Two of which run Mavericks one with Mountain Lion.... Does anybody know what is going on ? As in, are these problems known ?
I spoke to a few colleagues today, asking their opinion. They too were saying that Photoshop was lazy and not at all what it used to be ?

CS4 on Windows 8.1
I just installed windows 8.1 on a new desktop with Photoshop CS4 with the RAW 5.7 plugin, trying to work on Nikon 300S photo files. I can not open the files and keep getting the following messsage "Could not complete your request because it is not the right kind of document". I am running the same setup on a 6 month old laptop with no problems what am I doing wrong?

My photoshop CS5 shows a different, less red hue than other programs. What do I do?
My CS5 shows a less red hue than when I uploaded the jpeg to deviant art. When I set the image to my window's wall paper it also appears more red than is shown in photoshop window. Here's a screen cap of the photoshop window and deviant art upload:

Photoshop CS6 Repeated request for license number
How can I stop CS6 repeatedly requesting entry of the license number.
It is becoming a real pain!!

[PS CC] Greyed Out filters with SmartObject's Channel. Bug?
Using Photoshop CC I cannot apply any filter to a converted layer into a Smart Object if I select only a channel instead of RGB channel
Let me explain it with an example:
I create a new layer.
Convert it into smart layer (vía menu Filters > Convert… or secondary clic hover the layer, it doesn't matter).
Select only one channel, p.e. green channel.
Try to apply a filter… oh, wait!
They all appears greyed out 
This NOT happens in previous versions of PS, like CS6 or CS5. Neither if I select RGB channel.
Note: It happens on 8 bits or 16 bits.
Is this a bug? Are there a different way to do it?

ALL layer masks are destroyed
hi,
does anyone know how to fix broken/destroyed layermasks (or the reason for that phenomenon)?
After clicking Alt+Click the whole picture transformed into rectangular fields and all masks are broken.
I save the file 5min before that accident and it still works - only this file is dead (sorry for my english 
)

Photoshop CS4 - Adobe chat customer support can't remove serial number
I purchased a USED copy of Photoshop CS4 via Ebay. When I received the package and DVD I was supicious of the authenticiaty. I chatted with Adobe Customer support about the serial number validity against my Adobe ID. They said the serial number is "valid". I know that serial numbers can be "faked" and I don't want to install malware on my computer. I never installed the software or activated it.
I would like to have the serial number removed from my Adobe ID account so I can return it to the seller without issues. Chat says they can't remove a serial number.
Question - who can, if Adobe can't. I need to make sure this isn't linked to me.

Hello -
I regulary have to remove the Black (K) for printing cost reason at work...
Some time ago, I found a small and easy trick which involved playing between a specific profile and then past the CMYK picture to the RGB mode and come back to CMYK...
The Black was replaced by a mix between the Cyan, the Magenta and the Yellow, without losing to much "relief" in the picture.
It works perfectly except when I come back to my "regular" CMYK profile (which for Europe is the FOGRA39...), the Black is back again! :-(
Does someone know a better way to accomplish this?
Remove the Black and replace it with CMY?
FYI. I don't want to just remove the black, but also to replace it with CMY...

i would like to change my subscription from Creative Cloud single-app membership for Photoshop (one-year) to the new offer wich include Lightroom 5 , valid until the 2nd of December .
Should i cancel my subscription and enroll in the new one ??

printing from Photoshop CS4
I have Photshop CS4. I create a picture with a specific size in Photoshop (eample: 8.5" x 11"). I send it to the printer. In the printer box it also shows the correct print size. However when it prints it is only a small sample of the picture. An 8.5' x 11" picture from Photoshop, showing that size in the Image box and in the Photoshop print box, when sent to the printer shows at the correct size and prints it at 2-3/4" x 3-1/2". If i save the picture from Photoshop onto my desktop, then open it in Microsogt Office Picture Manager, then send it to the exact same printer, it is printed out at the correct size. I don't know why it will not print it to the correct size from Photoshop.
