How to make a .jpeg LARGER in file size for gift card? Please help

I have a client who wants to load their logo on to a gift card, http://www.makaiman.com/LVCLDecal.zip.

 

My client wants to simply take this image and upload the image on to a "gift card" for her clients or people who work for her, but the criteria in a .jpeg format being that "heavy" in file size I am not sure how to do. Can anyone help as it is somewhat urgent lol.

 

Here's the criteria for putting their logo on to an Albertson's Gift Card. I hope someone can help. Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

Upload Your Image

  1. Click on browse to select the image you wish to use for your gift card.
    Tips for uploading..
  • We support JPEG, BMP or GIF. However, we do not support animated GIF files or files with transparency. Transparent areas will be printed white.
  • For the best image quality, please use the following recommendation; Smaller file size/dimension/resolution may produce "fuzzy" images when printed.
  • Use the largest file possible up to 4.5MB.
  • Use minimum image resolution: 96 dpi
  • Use minimum image dimensions: Width: 243 pixels, Height: 204 pixels
  • Use images that are appropriate and avoid ANY copyrighted images.
  1. Click “Upload Selected Image” once you have chosen your image.

Photoshop CC / Wrong UI language / How to change?

Hi!

 

I installed the "Adobe Creative Cloud" tool.

I change my language to "Deutsch" (German).

Then I installed Photoshop CC.

 

But it is in English.

 

I checked Edit -> Preferences -> Interface -> UI Language.

But there is no other option then English.

 

Is there any German version available? How can I get that?

 

Is this issue caused by Windows 7 system language: English?

Hi,

 

I have a Polish language version of Photoshop CS 5 and I'd like to change it to english.

 

I've tried by

 

Edit>Preferences>Interface: Interface language

 

but there is only Polish language to choose.

 

Is there english version to download anywhere?

Help with smart object stack modes and video?!

Hey All,

 

I'm using the smart object stack mode (mean) in the typical way that you would for noise reduction in an image.

However, I'm using videos.

 

Everything goes smoothly (File>Scripts>Import as Stack, Select all layers, Convert to smart object), at that step, the video still plays.

As soon as I click Stack Mode>Mean, it averages the frames I am on in the timeline, but no longer plays as video. Anywhere I am in the timeline still just shows that one frame I was on when I applied the effect.

 

Any guidance would be greatly appreciated!!

Photoshop Text Tool

I recently downloaded Photoshop from the Cloud.  When I try to use the text tool the whole canvas turns black.  I can turn it back on by toggling the eye open and shut on the layer but when I try to write text again the screen turns black again and soon as I click the image.  Any suggestions?

Tablet PC's for Photographers

I work for a Dentist and am doing clinical Photography for the practice. The Doc wants me to photograph a patients smile and then, while he finishes the consult, edit the photograph to show them more or less what their smile will look like when we are done with treatment. He was thinking of purchasing a tablet pc. Which tablet pc is the bettter performer along with Photoshop? I currently use a laptop for my own work. Any advice would be much appreciated.

Why are Photoshop CC brushes pixelated when enlarged?

When I enlarge a brush shape past its "original" size (which for every shape is way too small for the most part), it gets pixelated. The attached jpeg is from a 300dpi 16-bit CMYK file.

 

It's especially obvious with stars, snowflakes, ornaments, this kind of thing. Can't make a clean 300px star, for example. Pretty sure I was able to enlarge these things with no problems in CS4.

 

Brand new copy of CC, brand new top-of-the-line MacBook Pro. Any help is appreciated!samplebrushblur.jpg

Nvidia Tool for Photoshop CC

I noticed that Nvidia Tool (for creating normal maps) is only compatible with all CS versions but not with CC, does anyone knows how to install the Nvidia Tool or how or if it is compatible with Photoshop CC?

Smart Objects and Scaling

In Photoshop CC, smart objects that have a layer mask, always say they're at 100% (width and Height) even if they've been resized. If there is NO mask, the correct size appears. I hate this. It wasn't like this before, at least in CS4. Any reasons for this?

Creative cloud: no update to photoshop 14.1 with Generator

Restarted and launched photoshop, checked for updates through CC App and Photoshop CC, but says it does not have an update.

 

Would like to try and solve as I would like to get usingthe generator part in the update.

 

Any ideas on how to solve this?

Photoshop CC crashing my PC

I downloaded the Photoshop CC/LR5 combo a few days ago, and since then the programs have been crashing my PC. (I've attached a screenshot.) This has happened at least 8 times, twice already this morning. Before I upgraded, I was using CS3 and LR4 and never had this issue.

2 GFX cards - 10bpc colour and 3D Acceleration - will it work?

My 2 passions in life are Photography and Gaming (disclaimer: other than my wife and kids).

 

I need a fast gaming GPU for, well, gaming and a pro-level card so I can use the 10-bit per channel colour depth on my monitor with Photoshop and Lightroom. (Does LR 5 even support wide gamut screens?)

I'm thinking of installing both in one PC, and connecting both cards to the same monitor (using a DVI and DP connector). I could then use the monitor input selector to decide which input to view.

 

The question is, if I'm using the 10-bit colour card for Photoshop/Lightroom would I get any of the benefits of the gaming card when doing things like processing RAW files, applying filters, etc?

 

I can only afford a good gaming card and entry level pro card.

The cards I have in mind are an nVidia GTX 780 Ti and AMD FirePro V3900

 

Any giudance appreciated because I'm just itching to build this beast!!!

Photoshop CS6

Hi there, I am running Photoshop CS6 on a Windows HP Pavilion.

The computer and software were purchased as part of a business, and having been a mac user for years and years, I'm having troubles!

 

1. When I open a file in Photoshop, it doesn't display the full layer correctly. I have to turn off and back on the layer to get it to look right, without a couple of big transparent boxes.

 

2. After a time, Photoshop seems to stop working. I can't open files, or new windows or do anything really. The only way to fix it is to restart the whole computer.

 

I have done some research and I can see that it could be a card issue or a Photoshop issue but I'm not sure how to fix either.

 

I can't find the serial number of Photoshop as it was already loaded onto the machine, so I don't know if the previous owner downloaded it or bought it in a box.

 

If anyone could help it would be much appreciated.

Why is the Lighting Effects Filter crashing PS CC?
